Barbarella

The year 1968 gave us the fabulous, if a little air headed, Barbarella. She may be a better lover than she is a fighter, but damn she looks fantastic.

Barbarella is sent by the President of Earth to track down Dr. Durand Durand who has invented the positronic ray. This future is one of peace, and they don't want this weapon to destroy that peace. Barbarella crash lands her pink space ship on Tao Ceti and receives help and a lesson in love making from a man in a wild fur suit. Her recently repaired ship doesn't get her very far, and her ship plummets to the ground and into a labyrinth. There she meets a blind angel named Pygar who has lost the will to fly and therefore cannot escape. A little shimmy in the sheets fixes that problem, and they fly to the city of Sogo where Durand Durand is sure to be. The only problem is Sogo is a dangerous city ruled over by the Great Tyrant and sits atop a lake called the mathmos that absorbs evil to power the city.

After one set back after another and a trip to the orgasmatron, she discovers Durand Durand, but he has a plan of his own. He traps Barbarella and the Great Tyrant and plans to rule over the city of Sogo himself. Trapped with only the Great Tyrant for company, how will Barbarella escape and save the universe?
